Parliament to decide on Nato ties: COAS

RAWLAPINDI: Army chief Ashfaq Parvez Kayani Monday made it clear that Parliament would set the tone of Pakistan’s ties with America and Nato, Geo News reported.

Flanked by Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, he told media at Jacobabad Airbase that Prime Minister had told him that Parliament was deliberating on the next line of action regarding Nato and whatever it decides on it would be the final word.

On operations in tribal belt, Gen Kayani said that army was trying its best to use least brute force in those areas.

Speaking on the occasion, air chief Rao Qamar said that there was nothing installed in the US F-16s that could stop the air force form using those fighter jets against American warplanes.

Air chief also said that Shahbaz Airbase was in total Pakistani control.
